The Real World

After my short lived career at EKU I had to get a job. I found myself working in Lexington at a nursing home. This was the fall of 2005. At this time gas just recently went up to $3.00 or more a gallon. So I used this as an excuse to move to Lexington. I never realized what I was getting myself into when I went into the "real world". I never knew how hard it would be to work and pay bills just to be broke. I ended up picking up another job just to have money to survive. I don't think anything can prepare a person for this adjustment.
